For the 25th year, the Iranian American Society of Marin is hosting a Chahar shanbeh Soori gathering on:

Tuesday March 18, 2025
from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Event Information:

We will celebrate the ancient custom of bidding farewell to the winter and welcoming the Spring season and the rebirth of nature (A New Beginning), in beautiful McNear's Beach Park, overlooking the San Francisco Bay. You will enjoy the music, dance, and the ritual of cleansing of what has passed to bring on the new by jumping over bonfires.
Persian food with hot and cold beverages will be available at the location for reasonable prices.

No Speeches this year, only a short welcome greeting and DJ music all night. Just come and have fun and dance non stop and be merry. Good food. Stay with us all night.
